Where to in the Adventure?

Since the time we launched The Camp Ohana Service and Safari Adventure, we have given you an overview on what has happened in the previous adventures. We have been sharing stories on how the adventure changed people’s lives.

With the recent release of Disney’s The Lion King, I am sure most of you are curious on what were the places to visit in Kenya that will bring you to the land where The Lion King happened.

We are sharing with you the various places you can explore when you decide to join us on this adventure.

Nairobi National Park:
This National Park is a short drive from Nairobi’s Business District. Our adventurers experience first hand encounter with a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife.

Major attractions in the park are the

  • Ivory Burning Site Monument
  • Walking trails at hippo pools,
  • Nairobi Safari Walk & the Orphanage

The park has spacious picnic areas where adventurers can have some time for rest and relaxation.

Maasai Mara:
The Maasai Mara is known as one of Kenya’s richest game reserve. It’s grounds are laid out with indigenous trees and shrubs. It is the home of the wildebeest migration from the Serengeti plains.

Apart from the safari experience, the camp is also equipped with luxury tented living to bird-watching, mini golf, sport fishing. In the Maasai village, adventurers will familiarize themselves with the Maasai culture

Giraffe Center:
The Giraffe Center was established to protect the endangered giraffes found in East Africa. The main attraction of this place is your personal encounter with the giraffes. Feeding and playing with them is one experience you will never forget.

Of course, the highlight of the safari adventure is a visit to the Camp Ohana village. Sing, dance, read stories and plant trees with the children of the village. An experience that will definitely change your life.
